From a domain name to its configuration.

Start with a summary and explanations. Explore the records, addresses and server responses when you need more detail.

Network information associated with the IP address and responses from security DNS filters. Results do not certify website safety.

ASN PTR DNSSEC
For former users

Same address. Different purpose.

Domain history: dynamic DNS

This address formerly hosted DyNS, a dynamic DNS provider. It connected a fixed hostname, such as yourname.dyns.cx, to a changing IP address. It also offered URL forwarding and services for users’ own domains.

The current website does not continue those services. It checks public information about domains, websites and email configuration.

There is no access to former accounts, IP updates, or management of former subdomains and redirects. This tool cannot restore the former service.

Good to know.

Can I sign in to my old DyNS account?

No. This website does not support or recover accounts from the former DyNS service. Do not enter old passwords or DNS update client credentials here.

Can I create a yourname.dyns.cx hostname?

No. This website does not assign subdomains or provide dynamic DNS. You can check a domain’s public records.

Will a check change my domain settings?

No. The tool reads public data and checks server responses. It does not access your registrar, hosting control panel or DNS configuration.

Does a positive result mean everything works?

Not necessarily. Checks have a defined scope and describe a particular moment. They do not test email delivery, website content or every possible problem.
